This adapter allows you to use a GU10 Light Bulb in a MR16, GU5.3 Lamp Socket.

Remember when using GU10 bulbs which are 240V you will need to make sure 220-240V is supplied to the MR16 socket, i.e. do not use a 12V transformer when using GU10 bulbs otherwise the GU10 bulb will not work because the full voltage is not being supplied. Consult an electrician if unsure. That is to say you can not simply put this adaptor into a 12V MR16 socket and then expect a 220-240V GU10 bulb to work.
