It can be used with any a/v source with a Composite RCA connection such as cable/satellite receivers, DVD players, VCRs, video game consoles, etc. A built in amplifier will boost the signal to the needed level, preventing signal loss and picture degradation. It is designed to drive a/v signals up to 150ft away from the source. For proper amplification, make sure that your video source is closely located to the amplifier and connected with a short cable.
